1st hour: Students show instructor their draft methodology Word document begun in class on Sunday Nov. 11.
This is the assignment for 2nd week of the Poster Project (Week 12 of teaching calendar)
1. Research question is complete and specific (no typos etc.) this should already be done in last class
2. Hypothesis statement or prediction of the cause and a reasonable explanation of the expected result
3. Methodology (Team must all cooperate and divide among themselves the following:
a. Sampling: prepare list of random or convenience sampling; Population (N) and Sample (n)
b. Survey - if used, prepare carefully worded questions
i. closed-end or open questions
ii. quantitative, qualitative or mixed-method
c. Design of experiment, test or survey needs to be briefly but adequately described
1. Independent variable
2. Dependent variable
3. Control group
4. what measurements and what instruments of measurement are taken
5. anticipate how to collect and record data (Excel, video, timer, blood pressure, etc.)

2nd Hour: Complete Word document as a common group report and file it on BBL before you leave class)
a. if a survey complete survey questions and send out to selected sample.
b. arrange and collect measuring instruments, schedule testing rooms in library if needed.
